Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement
Responsible publication is a shared commitment. Authors, editors, reviewers and the publisher each contribute to a reliable and transparent scholarly record.
Core Principles
Quillify’s publication standards centre on research integrity, originality, transparency, responsible authorship, ethical research and accurate reporting. Conclusions should be supported by the work presented; limitations and relevant uncertainties should be acknowledged.
Research involving people, personal information, animals or other regulated activities should identify applicable approvals and consent. Authors must protect confidential information and explain the ethical basis of their work where relevant.
Duties & Responsibilities
Authors
Report methods and findings honestly, acknowledge sources, identify all qualifying contributors and obtain their agreement to submission. Disclose relevant interests and support, retain supporting material where appropriate and promptly report significant errors. Do not submit the same work simultaneously to multiple journals or disguise substantially duplicated publication.
Editors
Assess submissions fairly against scope and scholarly merit. Protect confidential information, choose suitable reviewers, manage conflicts and evaluate concerns on their evidence. Keep commercial considerations separate from editorial judgments and communicate decisions clearly.
Reviewers
Accept assignments only when able to provide a competent, timely and independent assessment. Give specific, constructive reasons, identify relevant omissions and notify the editor of suspected integrity concerns. Do not use unpublished information for personal advantage or pressure authors to add unnecessary citations.
Publisher and journal
Support consistent editorial standards, maintain publication records and provide a route for concerns to be examined. Protect editorial independence and work with editors and authors on justified corrections or other notices. Payment and publication targets must not determine the scholarly outcome of a submission.
Reporting Concerns
Authors, reviewers, readers and other stakeholders may contact info@quillifypub.com about plagiarism, research misconduct, authorship disputes, conflicts of interest, ethical concerns or the integrity of a publication.
- Identify the manuscript or article using its Manuscript ID or existing publication link.
- Describe the concern precisely and provide relevant passages, source links or supporting documentation.
- Explain your relationship to the work and any interest relevant to the concern.
The editorial office will consider the evidence and may request further information or a response from the parties involved. Confidential information should be shared only as needed to assess the concern. An allegation alone is not a finding of misconduct.
