Manuscript Processing Policy

What the MPC Covers

The Manuscript Processing Charge supports the manuscript-handling and publication work in Quillify’s process: submission administration, editorial correspondence, originality-related checks, copyright verification, preparation of the final formatted files, online publication and the associated publication documentation.

The charge supports processing; it is not a fee for a favourable review or guaranteed acceptance. Outstanding corrections or integrity concerns must still be resolved.

Payment

Where payment is due, the amount is recorded against the manuscript and communicated with the applicable acceptance correspondence. Follow the payment instructions or link supplied for that manuscript and use the Manuscript ID when seeking assistance.

A successful payment must be confirmed in the manuscript’s payment record. An attempted, pending or failed payment is not confirmation, and a screenshot alone does not replace verification. Check the Manuscript Tracker and contact the editorial office if the amount or recorded status appears incorrect.

Do not assume payment completes the publication process: author confirmations, copyright requirements, requested corrections and production checks remain applicable. The current workflow does not provide an automatic refund after payment; clarify any payment concern with the editorial office.

Important Policies

• Submit original, ethically prepared research with accurate authorship and contact information.
• Cite sources properly and address originality concerns; a similarity result alone is not permission to reuse uncited material.
• Read editorial decisions and meet the revision deadline communicated for the manuscript.
• Complete the required confirmations, copyright formalities and payment verification.
• Request withdrawal through the editorial office rather than abandoning correspondence.
• Publication depends on completion of the applicable requirements, not on payment alone.
